Foreign media: A number of US politicians have tested positive for COVID-19

The Novel Coronavirus test results for former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, president Joe Biden’s chief spokesperson and White House Press Secretary Psaki have all tested positive for COVID-19.Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday she has tested positive for COVID-19 and has “mild symptoms.”Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said on social media that she was “feeling fine” and that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, had tested negative.Mrs Clinton, 74, said she was “more grateful than ever for vaccines to prevent severe illness” and urged people to get vaccinated and booster shots.Former US President Barack Obama announced earlier this month that he had tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus, the report said.Washington, March 22 (AFP) — US President Joe Biden’s chief spokeswoman, White House press secretary Jen Psaki, said on Tuesday she had tested positive again for the Novel Coronavirus test, but biden’s test was negative.Ms. Psaki said she had held two meetings with Mr. Biden a day earlier in which they maintained a social distance.In a statement, Psaki said Biden, 79, was “not a close contact” by the definition of the nation’s top health agency.Psaki will not travel to Europe with her White House team for a summit on Wednesday because of the positive test, the report said.This is the second time she has been forced to cancel a high-level trip because of COVID-19.Psaki decided not to travel to Europe with Biden in October after her family contracted COVID-19.She later tested positive for COVID-19 herself.
